I know I’ve been a bit of a sh*t for not updating in OVER A YEAR. What can I say – life and bit torrent sites ran me over. Anyway, back and happy to say His Black Pearl has finally made it onto Amazon (which means also onto Ipad, Iphone, Ipod Touch, Android, PC, Blackberry and who knows what else in Hades).

This is a wonderful story with an ending I was not expecting. I found the love affair between Hallie and Aaron to be sweet but not without obstacles. They are not living in a fantasy, they know they have a short time together but it makes the love they share all the more true. Excellent read with an unexpected ending.

If you are looking for a quick and dark-desire scorcher with a mysterious undertone that can be read in a few short hours, then Colette Howard’s His Black Pearl is the perfect book for you. Ms. Howard did an excellent job of dropping hint after hint that Aaron was not what he appeared to be. It wasn’t until the very end that his true identity was revealed, and more importantly, how Hallie played a key role into the scheme of things. I was greatly intrigued until the surprising finale came along, and even more so by the wicked passion showcased between the couple.
